In one of my collegiate classes I had to choose a word that would represent my photographs for the semester. I chose audacious and have never wavered from it since. What speaks to me about this word is that it can be a positive or negative connotation. A mantra I stand by is that you cannot understand happiness without frustration and I believe both emotions should be showcased.
Idaho Steelheads
What I have realized from interning with the Idaho Steelheads is that I can still use my word audacious to showcase sport. There are triumphs and defeats in hockey and I capture that through players’ facial expression, fan engagement, and body language on the ice. The photos above are just a snapshot of what I do for the Steelheads (you will have to see a game to get the full experience)
